To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to commend Garry Jones of Clinton, Tennessee as a faithful servant of our Lord. Not only is he an effective preacher of the word, but he has helped in our overseas preacher training schools in Nepal and India many times over the past several years. This he did one month out of the year while serving as the located preacher at Clinton.
Now he has committed himself to work full time in teaching at least six months a year in Asia and the rest of the time working to find support for our students, which is a growing and pressing need.
God willing I will be 72 in November and Brother Jones' work will be invaluable for at times this work seems to overwhelm me. Please help him raise his needed support with a lump sum as you are able or monthly the Lord blesses you as senders (Rom. 10:14-15).
This is not simply a work to go abroad to preach, but is the work of Christ to train native Christians to reach their own with the gospel (2 Tim. 2:2). Presently we have twelve Bible training schools in four states of India and God being our helper we want to train even more. The night comes when no man can work.
