Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Cindy and I have just returned from our trip to India. This was Cindy’s second trip to India and she was excited about seeing the work we are involved in and particularly the Mustard Seed Village and the children.
We first spent a few days in Dibrugarh, Assam at the Theophilus Bible Institute. Cindy had the opportunity to conduct a Ladies Program and spoke on the Fruits of the Spirit. There is a great need for sisters knowledgeable in the word of God to come with their husbands or by themselves and conduct programs of Bible enrichment for the sisters in the congregation and the invited guest from the villages. Often there is a great disparity between the teaching and knowledge that the men receive and that of the wives and sisters. We need strong Christian marriages and families and this requires the teaching of women as well as men. Cindy also taught a ladies class at the Mustard Seed Village and a Bible class with the children. She enjoyed the opportunity and the sisters and children appreciated her abilities and kindness. We have two schools for women to attend now and I am still preparing to accept sisters into the Jean Fields Bible School for Women in 2012.
